Key Stage 2

Curriculum Structure

We aim to offer a range of experiences that will provide innovative and transformational opportunities for learning. The curriculum will develop students as independent, interdependent and confident learners.All students are individuals and we are committed to ensuring that any and all barriers to learning are identified and removed, allowing every learner to reach their full potential.Every effort will be made to ensure that no learner is left behind and equal emphasis will be placed on ensuring that all students including the more able, gifted and talented achieve to their full potential.

Key Stage 2

In Key Stage 2 the following subjects are taught in line with the 2008 National Curriculum;

English, Mathematics, Science, Welsh, Information and Communication Technology, Art and Design, Geography, History, Music, Physical Education and Design and Technology.

The children will participate in a programme of Personal, Social and Health Education which will promote health and wellbeing, including the personal, social, spiritual, moral and cultural development of pupils. The children will also study RE as a statutory requirement.
